Practical information

Hypermix will take place on 13-15 June 2022 in Nantes Université - UFR Sciences et Techniques, building n°2, Amphi Pasteur.

  • Registration:

Registration is FREE but mandatory. The number of participants is limited to 100 (first-come first-served basis).

  • Talks:

Invited speakers talks will last 25 minutes followed by 15 minutes of discussion. Promoted speakers talks will last 15 minutes followed by 10 min of discussion. A computer will be made available for the presentations in PDF, PPT or PPTX formats only.  In case you wish to use your own computer, please make sure that you bring all necessary adapters. The projector will have HDMI and VGA ports.

  • Lunch and Dinner:

Lunches from monday to wednesday are included in the registration, as well as a gala dinner on June 14th. The address for the gala dinner is Quai de la Motte Rouge, place Waldeck Rousseau, Nantes (the closest tram station on line 2 is Motte-Rouge, then cross the river). The boarding time is 19h45, with a departure at 20h30 and back to Nantes at 23h. Please be on time, the boat will not wait!

  • How to come to Nantes University from downtown?

- By Tramway (easiest way to come)

The closest tramway station is "Michelet Sciences” on line 2, and is 10-15 min from downtown.

- By Car

The adress of the University main entry is 2 chemin de la Houssinière, 44300 Nantes. It is however not possible to park your car in the university grounds.

  • How to come to Nantes?

 - By Airline

The Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE) is located 11 km from the city center of Nantes and is the third largest airport in western France. Direct flights from many major European hubs are possible. Global travelers can expect to fly into Paris, London, Amsterdam or Madrid before connecting to NTE.

  Then by airport shuttle

  • The shuttle is the least expensive way (€8.50) to get to the centre of Nantes. Every day, the airport shuttle bus runs between the city centre of Nantes (Place du Commerce or Lieu Unique) and Nantes Atlantique Airport.

  • The shuttle runs every 20 minutes from Monday to Saturday, from 5:30 am to 11 pm, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and public holidays, from 6:15 am to 11 pm.

  • The shuttle takes just 20 minutes to get from the airport to the train station. It connects to the 3 tram lines, line 4 of the Busway and the C2 Chronobus.

  • The shuttle pick-up and drop-off is located in front of Hall 1 of the airport.

  • Ticket sales: on the Tan app, online at www.tan.fr, ticket distributors at certain stations, on board from the shuttle driver (cash or credit card) and at the Relay store in Hall 2 of the airport.

  • The taxi stand is just outside Hall 3 of the terminal building, as soon as you exit the building. Numerous taxis serve the airport and the entire Nantes area.

The Nantes train station is located 5 minutes from the city center.

High-speed train "TGV" services connect Nantes from the following cities (2 hours from Paris, 3 hours from Paris-CDG airport)
